Udayan Care Kolkata's Shalini Fellowship, an extraordinary initiative aiding deserving girls from challenging socio-economic backgrounds, has illuminated paths for over 16 years. Established in 2007 at the Kolkata Chapter, this programme has not only successfully empowered numerous deserving girls but has also shown a consistent increase in enrollment, underscoring the urgent need for women's empowerment.
Beyond being an educational initiative, the Shalini Fellowship is a transformative journey fostering academic excellence and personality development for each fellow over an average 5-year course. Notably, 50% of Shalinis are excelling in STEM streams, showcasing a commitment to diversity and recognizing talent in crucial fields.
Despite these achievements, the demand is greater than ever. Udayan Care Kolkata aspires to reach more girls and enhance the curriculum for research and learning. This Fellowship is a testament to their dedication to building a progressive and inclusive society. As it continues to brighten the educational landscape, many more girls eagerly await their chance.
Udayan Care Kolkata urgently seeks patrons like you. Your generous donations will be instrumental in expanding the programme, offering a lifeline to those dreaming of education but lacking the means. Join us in creating a brighter future, where your support can turn dreams into reality and empower these girls, ensuring a dignified and opportunistic life for each one.
