SwitchON Foundation is one of the leading organizations in India with focus on environmental and climate change issues. With a rich legacy spanning 15 years, we've grown into a not-for-profit entity with an emphasis on critical areas, primarily Clean Air Sustainable Cities (CASC) and the Energy, Water, and Agriculture Nexus (EEWA) across 10 states in India from Maharashtra in west to Manipur in east.
In the realm of Clean Air Sustainable Cities, specifically within Air Pollution & Climate Action Stewardship, our efforts revolve around engaging and empowering youth to take climate action. We collaborate with medical students to address health emergencies linked to air pollution, partner with wards and municipalities to bolster city resilience, promote sustainable mobility for cleaner transit, and place recommendations backed by research for mitigating industrial pollution through solutions like green steel.
In the EEWA domain, our initiatives are dedicated to promoting Decentralized Renewable Energy for livelihoods, sustainable agriculture, and the adaptation of climate-resilient crops such as millets and indigenous rice through an ecosystem approach. We also focus on sustainable water conservation and management, incubation of Farmers' Producer Organizations (FPO) and Agri-Allied Enterprises, and the promotion of skills of youth for a just transition to climate resilient alternatives.

SwitchON Foundation established in the year 2008, is one of the leading not for profit organization working in the space of environment, climate change and sustainability. The organization is working in currently 10 states of India under the two programs - EEWA (Empowering Energy Water and Agriculture) and CASC (Clean air and sustainable cities). We have also been recognized as "Great Place to Work". We have a strong field presence working extensively with a wide range of stakeholders ranging from youth, undeserved population, farmers, SHG Women. We have a strong and active partnership with Government department, National and International organizations, teachers and mothers.
