OSS is an organization which is committed for providing surgical and medical care for children and adults with musculoskeletal diseases and deformities esp. spinal and limb deformity for the underprivileged in rural and urban India.
OSS is already conducting the operation free of cost for the last sixteen years and have planned to carry out annual camp conducting ‘Spine Surgery’ at free of cost for the identified beneficiaries.
OSS is involved in programmes specially designed for children and young adults in 2023 - 24.
1. Mobile Ambulance & Clinic in rural sector,
2. Medicine Bank for Rural & Semi - Urban Community ,
3. Health Hygine and Cyber Safety for School Children focused on Kanyashree Girls,
4. Providing food and clothes to the deprived and distressed children during Durga Puja, 2023,
5. Annual Surgical Workshop on Spinal Deformity treating all underprivileged children like the previous years in hospital.
Your gift or donation will mean to provide comprehensive medical and state-of-the-art surgical care to poor children and young adults from the socially deprived areas who could not afford such expensive treatments. Donations will be allocated for each child's corrective surgery, for e.g. implants, hospital expenses, transportation and rehabilitation.
Funding can be generated for education and publishing patient handbooks. Participating children from OSS Trust from various sporting institutions in the Marathon will raise funds for the ongoing and future activities of the Trust.
A one time donation or a multi year pledge will make a substantial difference in ongoing programmes to serve these children.
